St. Martins Country Inn is just west of the entrance to the Fundy Trail, which has visitors (including Cruise ship visitors) flocking to view the majestic splendors of New Brunswick's Bay of Fundy coastline. The trip through the historic village of St. Martins leads past this renovated landmark (known locally as The Castle), past two covered bridges, around the fishing peer to miles of unspoiled beaches and caves carved by the world famous Fundy tides.

Originally built by Captain William Vaughan and his wife Jane in 1857, the grandeur of her vision has been recaptured by the present owners, Albert LeClair and family.
